Audit engagements
Independent assurance when users need a high level of confidence in financial statements.
An audit is designed to provide reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free from material misstatement. The work is planned based on identified risks and includes obtaining evidence, understanding relevant internal controls and evaluating accounting policies, estimates and presentation.
Audit engagements may be required by lenders, investors, regulators, funding agreements or governance bodies, or chosen voluntarily where stronger assurance is valuable.
We can help with
- Financial statement audits for private companies and organizations
- Audits required by lenders, funders, bylaws or regulators
- First-year audits and transition from review engagements
- Audit-readiness and coordination with management
